| Cypress Mountain Ski Resort - Vancouver |
Cypress Mountain, or the Cypress Bowl, is conveniently located just 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver, in West Vancouver and is the largest local mountain for the urban skier. With 52 downhill runs and the largest vertical rise on the North Shore, skiers may enjoy fabulous views of downtown Vancouver, English Bay, Georgia Straight and the Howe Sound while skiing or boarding. In anticipation of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Cypress Mountain is being developed into a world class ski facility with a new permanent Cypress Creek day lodge, 40 hectares of new terrain, a new high-speed chairlift, parking upgrades, Terrain Park and more. |

Cypress Mountain or Cypress Bowl has unparalleled terrain and the largest vertical rise on the North Shore and is Vancouver's premier winter playground. Cypress has 52 downhill winter skiing and riding runs accessed by 6 chairlifts and 2 surface lifts, 19km of track set cross country trails, a snowtubing park with a tube tow lift and amazingly popular snowshoeing tours around the Historic Hollyburn Lodge.
