| Fernie Alpine Ski Resort - Fernie, BC |
The Fernie Ski Resort, located in the Canadian Rockies, is a magical winter wonderland where temperatures are mild, the snowfall is massive and the powder is legendary. With an average snowfall of over 29 feet, 2,500 acres of terrain, over 2,800 feet of vertical and 5 spectacular open bowls, ridges and glades, BC skiers won’t be disappointed. Fernie's ridgelines and bowls face due north, while the sides of the bowls - where the steep stuff lies - face east and west. This means that regardless of where the wind blows and where the sun shines, someplace on the mountain you'll find great snow. With the newly developed ski-in/ski-out condo-style accommodations and improved base area facilities, you’ll enjoy the slopes at the Fernie Alpine Resort.
