This Vancouver Island ski resort, located just 3.5 hours from Victoria, BC is a first stop for weather systems rolling in from the Pacific, with more than 10 metres of payload per season and boasts one of the deepest snow packs in Canada. Next to the Strathacona Provincial Park, this mountain is one of the most spectacular costal alpine settings in Canada. With the Pacific Ocean on one side and pure rugged wilderness on the other, it’s a favorable contrast. Luge and whale watch on the same day, snowshoe and sea kayak on the next, and or ski the mountain in the morning and golf at sea level in the afternoon.
