The Sun Peaks Resort, located in Kamloops, is the second largest ski area in BC, is well protected from the mild coastal weather caused by the Coast Mountains and still gets the storms from the Pacific. Sun Peaks spreads over three mountains, with 122 runs, 12 gladed areas, 2 bowls and some sweet steep & deep off Top of the World. Green, blue and black runs can be accessed from the top of every chairlift, allowing everyone to choose a favorite run and meet back at the bottom of the lift. And it’s never been too big or commercial to take a run with Olympic Gold Medalist Nancy Greene, a resident and daily skier at this world class ski resort. |
